First of all I want to let you know that our family is thinking of all who are affected by the recent tornado(s). How devastating and heartbreaking.

it’s a small pine tree – those yellow/green ‘petals’ are the new needles 🙂

Since it’s WOYWW (Julia is to blame!!! ;)) today also, here a peek on last weeks ‘desk’ (it’s actually our kitchen table), where I was busy making a template for envelopes that can hold my 4×6 index/post/mail art cards. As mentioned here, I like to make envelopes myself out of recycled paper.
I used an empty cake box

Thanks, Boo. The ‘flower’ is actually the end part of the twig of the little pine tree, where the new needles grow… I’ll have to add another picture, so you can see it from a different perspective…
A great idea to make envelopes out of recycled paper – they look super.

Its nice to know we are doing something for the environment. I just recently acquired a We R Memory Keepers envelope maker, I must but it out of its packaging and try it out and maybe show it off next wee

Making your own envelopes is better than buying them! Then, you can pick the colors and patterns!!
