Mandala by Nature & Thank you & woyww

First of all I want to let you know that our family is thinking of all who are affected by the recent tornado(s). How devastating and heartbreaking.

I didn’t plan to post today, but my blog found so many new followers recently I needed to say:

Thank you so very much!
…for visiting, commenting, following and most importantly (and hopefully) Enjoying my little works of art and finds. It means so much to me.

This mandala is especially for all of you!
(it is NOT a flower, as many of my visitors thought…
it’s a small pine tree – those yellow/green ‘petals’ are the new needles 🙂

Since it’s WOYWW (Julia is to blame!!! ;)) today also, here a peek on last weeks ‘desk’ (it’s actually our kitchen table), where I was busy making a template for envelopes that can hold my 4×6 index/post/mail art cards. As mentioned here, I like to make envelopes myself out of recycled paper.

Have a great week. Thanks for visiting.

  1. How fun! I was folding a bunch of envelopes myself too last week (to sell on an art-market…) I LOVE your desk! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #109

  2. The flower is simply beautiful.

    1. Thanks, Boo. The ‘flower’ is actually the end part of the twig of the little pine tree, where the new needles grow… I’ll have to add another picture, so you can see it from a different perspective…

  3. A great idea to make envelopes out of recycled paper – they look super.

  4. Really, I was sure it was a flower, untill I read your comment. I’m baffled. I do see it now. It has the most gorgeous color!

  6. What a beautiful flower. Nature always does it right. I love your envelopes made from papers, they are works of art unto themselves.

  9. Its nice to know we are doing something for the environment. I just recently acquired a We R Memory Keepers envelope maker, I must but it out of its packaging and try it out and maybe show it off next wee

    1. Yes Bridget – try it! It’s fun and, as you said, it’s always good to do something for our environment.
Sunny today here close to Stockholm 🙂

  10. Making your own envelopes is better than buying them! Then, you can pick the colors and patterns!!

  15. […] …changes very often. Sometimes it’s the blue table where I can work together with my kids, other times it’s the messy table downstairs (to paint and print and experiment), or my desk in the office, or simply the kitchen table. […]
