I liked the theme for this swap and since I found the information in time, I got working. (I tend to find out about swaps or other things I like only to find that the deadline has already passed or is too close to be met.)
Anyway – I thought I sketch some twigs that I see scattered in the forest. I love their delicate appearance against the snow (yes, it still covers the ground here – but not on the roads anymore, mainly natural surfaces like our backyard or as mentioned the forest).
These are watercolor backgrounds (with some resist from white crayon sketch), Faber-Castell Pitt Pens (regular tip, S and F) and watercolor pencil.
Everything packed in an envelope from the ‘recycled envelope‘ series 🙂
I also made two more colorful ones (only one is pictured here) that I didn’t like as much. SO therefore I only packed the two ‘twigs’ for this particular swap. Oh yes – I should state the official swap name:
Sogn Art Earth Day Swap (everything is sent to Olympia, WA and for every ATC sent one will receive an ATC from another participant)
Thanks for stopping by! You comments are always appreciated 🙂
Cheers,
Jana
Your artwork is so beautiful Jana.
Lovely!
Pretty. I like the one with the chevrons the best.
So pretty! There is such a feeling of movement in the twig ATC! Beautifully done!
(Btw, jumped here from your Daisy Yellow post 🙂
